2022 edition

26—27 marzo 2022

Extraordinary edition in 2022.
On a day in the middle of spring, Filippo Colombo - the home favourite, who trained at the Velo Club Monte Tamaro and is still the Monte Ceneri champion - did not disappoint expectations, imposing himself in the men's elite category.

On his home circuit, the Ticino rider preceded the Frenchman, his teammate at BMC MTB Racing, Titouan Carod, and the other Swiss Mathias Flückiger, reigning vice Olympic and World Champion and winner of the last CdM.

In the women's field, with Olympic champion Jolanda Neff absent, the winner was the transalpine Loana Lecomte, who beat the Dutch Anne Terpstra and Olympic bronze medallist Linda Indergand. The other Swiss on the podium in Tokyo 2020, Sina Frei, finished fifth.

Two days of excitement, friendship and sport in the splendid setting of Monte Tamaro.

Ticino becomes an international showcase, thanks also to the organisation of three amateur cycling events: the Velo Gusto Lungo, Medio and Brunch.
Three itineraries between history, environment and culture through the most beautiful views of our territory, with the possibility of getting to know the main businesses, the gastronomic excellences and the breathtaking panoramas of our Region.

Through specially signposted routes, the bikers were able to enjoy many tasting moments and received, as a souvenir, the event's tricot. An unforgettable experience of sport, conviviality, Cuzlin delicacies and lots of fun.
