Clear skies and pleasant temperatures on Saturday allowed the young bikers to have fun and compete on a dry and sunny track.
Clouds and a few drops of rain on Sunday's Elite races did not prevent Mathias Flückiger (Thömus maxon) from
Mathias Flueckiger returned to success by leading a solo race and winning by a margin of almost two and a half minutes.
In second place was the other Swiss Albin Vital (Thömus maxon) for a fine one-two for the team led by former athlete Ralph Naef. Third place for Zurich's Luca Shaetti (Bike Team Solothurn), who overtook Lecco's Juri Zanotti (Team BMC) in the final round. Fifth place for a nevertheless satisfied Lars Foster (Thömus maxon).
In the morning race reserved for the Elite Women, fantastic performance of Martina Berta, who just on the day of her birthday gave herself the success in the second edition of the ÖKK BIKE REVOLUTION TAMARO TROPHY 2023. The biker from Valle d'Aosta left Swiss Sina Frei (Specialized Racing Team) at 23s. At 52s on the third step of the podium was Nicole Koller, of the GHOST Racing Team. Fourth and fifth place went to Ronja BLÖCHLINGER, of Liv Factory Racing, and overall World Cup 2022 winner Alessandra Keller, of Thömus maxon, respectively.
