The sun shone on the two days of racing at Tamaro Trophy 2024.
Sunday's Women's and Men's Elite starts lined up a parterre of champions worthy of a World Cup stage.
Among the men, a no-holds-barred battle that saw a French hat trick on the podium: first place Jordan SARROU (Team BMC), followed by Joshua DUBAU (Decathlon Ford Racing Team) and Adrien BOICHIS (Trinity Racing MTB). On the fourth and fifth steps of the podium were Simon ANDREASSEN (Cannondale Factory Racing) and Nadir COLLEDANI (Santa Cruz Rockshok Pro Team), respectively. The home favorite finished eighth due to an unfortunate puncture just as he was leading the race.
Still France on the Women Elite podium with the triumph of Pauline FERRAND PREVOT (Ineos Grenadiers), but second and third place went to Swiss Jolanda NEFF (Trek Factory Racing XC) and Alessandra KELLER (Thömus Maxon). Fourth step of the podium for the other Frenchwoman Loana LECOMTE (Canyon CLLTV) and fifth for Italy's Martina Berta (Santa Cruz Rockshox Pro Team) who, last year, had triumphed in the 2023 edition of the TAMARO TROPHY.
