The Tamaro Trophy course takes place entirely on the slopes of Monte Ceneri.
Designed entirely in the woods of Ticino, it is one of the most treacherous and spectacular in the world.
Classified by the International Cycling Union (UCI) as category HC (Hors Class), it has seen the greatest champions in both the men's and women's fields compete.
Big names have made the Monte Tamaro course famous: such as Filippo Colombo, the home favourite; the legendary Nino Schurter, winner of everything that can be won; Mathias Flückiger, the silver medallist at the Tokyo Olympic Games; Titouan Carod; Juri Zanotti and many others.
Or how about the Swiss athletes Jolanda Neff, Sina Frei, Linda Indergang and Alessandra Keller, always ready to fly our flag on the highest flagpole; the Frenchwoman Loana Lecomte; the Dutchwoman Anne Terpstra and, again, Laura Stigger and the very strong Pauline Ferrand Prevot.
A circuit that has always given strong emotions and that, this year too, will reserve surprises and moments of great cycling!
